The tension between the Ameghino and the Locura Y Realidad players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Ameghino players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Locura Y Realidad were winning 0-3.

If Nestor Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Laureano Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locura Y Realidad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Lico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ameghino's Ladislao Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Garcia in the 62nd minute of play. Laureano Lico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ladislao Presebal made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Ameghino's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Calixto came free, but Ladislao Presebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Locura Y Realidad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ameghino throughout the match.
