When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Ascochinga AFC's Jose Izotz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pastor Gaxan. A collision led to Boca juniors getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Roman Frascuelo hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Isidro Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32ndth minute of the game Lisandro Nabar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca juniors's Pastor Gaxan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lisandro Nabar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pastor Gaxan made a huge save. Baldomero Canor hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Lisandro Nabar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pastor Gaxan. The goal made the score 4-0. Isidro Refugio's late challenge caught a Ascochinga AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Refugio helped the player get up and apologised. 47 minutes into the game, one of Boca juniors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ascochinga AFC a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jose Izotz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Boca juniors's Pastor Gaxan. 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Loramendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Boca juniors's Victor Chuan got a free kick in the 57th minute. Pastor Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Bartoli in the 61st minute of the match. Honorio Alvarez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Loramendi's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Nabar in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Gaxan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodosio Berbiz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Berbiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Ascochinga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Berbiz. Pastor Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Canor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Pastor Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Fernan Loramendi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorio Alvarez was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Pastor Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Brun in the 85th minute of the match.
