The referee ignored Plagas FC's protests and gave Severiano Quintyn a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Moldes a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. Miro Barúmov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Quintin in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Fidencio in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timoteo Cerilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Plagas FC's Aristides Fidencio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Timoteo Cerilo. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Timoteo Cerilo was a little too slow when Segundo Rivas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. 29 minutes into the game, Plagas FC's Segundo Rivas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timoteo Cerilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Segundo Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Sancho made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Plagas FC's Anacleto Tximitx. If Anacleto Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miro Barúmov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Napier in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moldes's goalkeeper Timoteo Cerilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segundo Rivas was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Aristides Fidencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plagas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Fidencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Cerilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Segundo Rivas put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Timoteo Cerilo. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Segundo Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plagas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Rivas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Cerilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Moldes defense, Segundo Rivas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Cerilo. The Moldes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Cerilo should have stopped the shot. Timoteo Cerilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Rivas in the 68th minute of the match. If Aristides Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94thth minute of the game Aristides Fidencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moldes's Timoteo Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Timoteo Cerilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
