When Fernan Benvide fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ferrauda's protests and gave Fernan Benvide a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Moldes booed when FC Ferrauda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Benvide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Osoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Gau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Timoteo Cerilo made a huge save. Timoteo Cerilo was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Horacio Osoro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horacio Osoro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Delmiro Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Ferrauda's Benigno Ieltxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Quintin in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Quintin in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Ieltxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 minutes of play, Moldes's Melquiades Napier made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Ieltxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augusto Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Timoteo Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Ferrauda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moldes were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Osoro made a kick off. Benigno Ieltxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Damario hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. FC Ferrauda's Benigno Ieltxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ferrauda from getting a goal against them. Delmiro Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Timoteo Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Delmiro Gau came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Ferrauda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Gau couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Moldes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Ferrauda:s goal. In the 85th minute, Horacio Osoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Ferrauda's Benigno Ieltxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ferrauda from getting a goal against them. Horacio Osoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Cerilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horacio Osoro ran back to his position shaking his head.
