The audience was convinced that Corneliu Muscă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Monico was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. A collision led to VINEIRO FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jose Aznar hit a great ball. Chantas were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after VINEIRO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Éthan Sourisseau took the corner. The corner led to Chantas's Luis Abad getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Corneliu Muscă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VINEIRO FC's Carlos Monico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bert Kruijs having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Chantas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Muscă to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Gorosti's late challenge caught a Chantas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Gorosti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, VINEIRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Gorosti made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bert Kruijs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fabian Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, VINEIRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Celipe to maneuver through the defense. VINEIRO FC's Carlos Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éthan Sourisseau in the 72nd minute of play. Éthan Sourisseau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Monico having to make a save. When Wilfredo Gorosti came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the VINEIRO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Gorosti couldn't finish the play. A collision led to VINEIRO FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Wilfredo Gorosti hit a great ball. If Jose Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Éthan Sourisseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Celipe hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Chantas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because VINEIRO FC had won, even though Chantas had held more of the ball.
