Though ot was a great shot Matheu's keeper Julian Behe was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Esteban Lalla charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Lalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Matheu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Lalla to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Nastasio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Teodosio Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Behe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Sarlustra FC's Teodosio Paublo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julian Behe. Julian Behe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Sarlustra FC's Ariel Nastasio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Paublo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Matheu defense, Teodosio Paublo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Behe. The Matheu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Behe should have stopped the shot. Julian Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Behe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Nastasio went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Matheu's Julian Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Paublo in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Sarlustra FC booed when Matheu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Sarlustra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Rodriguez came free, but Ildefonso Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matheu's Jose Jacindo got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Sarlustra FC's Luciano Baristo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luciano Baristo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sarlustra FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luciano Baristo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 71 played minutes Sarlustra FC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Baristo. Jose Jacindo scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ildefonso Rodriguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Jose Jacindo made a precise shot to the right of Ildefonso Rodriguez. Sarlustra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Ariel Nastasio hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Sarlustra FC's Teodosio Paublo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Behe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 91st minute, Efrain Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
