Erubiel Gasteiz started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Teodosio Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Pierres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CA San Martin de Lbye getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cesar Rojelio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sarlustra FC's Ildefonso Rodriguez got control of the ball when Carmelo Rocendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, CA San Martin de Lbye's Carmelo Rocendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Rodriguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Sarlustra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Gasteiz came free, but Ildefonso Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Erubiel Gasteiz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ildefonso Rodriguez to make any attempt to save it. Ildefonso Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Gasteiz in the 21st minute of the match. Rene Medero tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ciriaco Pierres. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 25th minute. Erubiel Gasteiz's late challenge caught a Sarlustra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Gasteiz helped the player get up and apologised. David Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Pierres having to interfere. Rene Lia hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Rodriguez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leonardo Sugoi. In the 42nd minute, Sarlustra FC's Luciano Baristo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luciano Baristo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sarlustra FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luciano Baristo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 42nd minute, one of Sarlustra FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sarlustra FC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Paublo made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Sarlustra FC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Cordarrol. In the 56th match minute, Sarlustra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Nastasio to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CA San Martin de Lbye's Siro Harri pulled a muscle in his leg after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Sarlustra FC's David Umbruso got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Sarlustra FC's Teodosio Paublo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Carmelo Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ildefonso Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carmelo Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Sugoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ildefonso Rodriguez. Sarlustra FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carmelo Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Rodriguez having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, CA San Martin de Lbye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ildefonso Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Carmelo Rocendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that CA San Martin de Lbye were the better team. CA San Martin de Lbye's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
