Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Bordat to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes, Labordeboy FC's Severo Chorache shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Walme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Labordeboy FC reached it. Arsenio Noe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Muc in the 52nd minute of the match. Los Gabylanes del Oeste's Ovidio Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Frechoso in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Frechoso during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Gabylanes del Oeste booed when Labordeboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Belmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Labordeboy FC's Ovidio Walme threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emilio Macias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Gabylanes del Oeste fully deserved thier win.
