The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 15 played minutes Guañacos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Quilino. In the 17th match minute, Guañacos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Salvino to maneuver through the defense. Federico Beltza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Brun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Pasqual was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Ernesto Campana made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Hugo Pasqual sent off a good shot on target. The referee ignored Guañacos AFC's protests and gave Hipolito Quilino a yellow card for diving instead. Hipolito Quilino hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Cirilo Tristan made a precise shot to the right of Aquiles Pasqual. Guañacos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Federico Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

55 minutes into the game, Melo's Federico Beltza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Pasqual made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Tristan got free with Aquiles Pasqual in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Melo's Alvaro Brun in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guañacos AFC's Aquiles Pasqual proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Guañacos AFC from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Cirilo Tristan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquiles Pasqual, 0-7. Ubaldo Betadur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ubaldo Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Pasqual having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Jorge Arias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquiles Pasqual. Jorge Arias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. If Ubaldo Betadur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
