If Feliciano Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Vellito in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Primitivo Liher, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fernan Beltran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Maurin went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Feliciano Vela struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Primitivo Liher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roberts FC. 39 minutes into the match, Cristo Maurin notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Roberts FC's Fernan Beltran. Fernan Beltran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Cristo Maurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Maurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristo Maurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Beltran having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Vellito was the one to do the kick off. If Feliciano Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Perrando hit a great ball. Victor Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Urtsua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Fernan Beltran made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Perrando during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as RIVER's Honorio Lobo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernan Beltran. That made the score 0-4 after 85 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Roberts FC's zone, Cristo Maurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Beltran came out of the goal and Cristo Maurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernan Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Roberts FC booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball.
