Waldemar Hajduk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelmiro Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Firmin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Siambón FC's zone, Bonifacio Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Firmin came out of the goal and Bonifacio Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sixto Cordearo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Angelo Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Maule hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Waldemar Hajduk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute.
