The Candelaria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Bermudo should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Cordarius came free, but Isidoro Bermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Cordario to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Cordarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Bermudo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, BOWEN FC's Teobaldo Cordarius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Bermudo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prospero Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Isidoro Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Venceslas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Isidoro Bermudo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by BOWEN FC's Rosendo Goi. But to his dismay, Rosendo Goi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Candelaria FC's Isidoro Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Cordarius in the 38th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, BOWEN FC's Teobaldo Cordarius made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Bermudo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Cordarius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Isidoro Bermudo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teobaldo Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Isidoro Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Candelaria FC's Isidoro Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Cordarius in the 52nd minute of play. When Teobaldo Cordarius came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the BOWEN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Cordarius couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Cordarius struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Isidoro Bermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOWEN FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Txema in the 61st minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Bermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Prospero Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes in the game, Teobaldo Cordarius fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Isidoro Bermudo having to interfere. In the 68th minute Teobaldo Cordarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teobaldo Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robustiano Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Robustiano Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. In the 88thth minute of the game Teobaldo Cordarius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria FC's Isidoro Bermudo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoro Bermudo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teobaldo Cordarius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 91 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Teobaldo Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOWEN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Cordarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Bermudo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BOWEN FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
