After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Jobo to make the kick off. Bartolo Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Oro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Iturri got free with Mario Oro in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roque Ariando charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Ariando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Placido Ongile struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mario Oro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IRON MAIDEN FOOTBALL CLUB. If Silvio Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Ortzi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. IRON MAIDEN FOOTBALL CLUB's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
