After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Emilio Sindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oketero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Sindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Phelipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pablo Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oketero FC's goalkeeper Augusto Osoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Pablo Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Oketero FC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Oketero FC's Carlos Pinheiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Duarte couldn't finish the play. In the 77thth minute of the game Carlos Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carcano's Lorenzo Phelipe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
