Spectators: 6638 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) Nío's Atilano Leizarraga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Ismael Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FORTIN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Ekaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Marco Jordy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nío's Sixto Ayala got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonides Tonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eustacio Diagur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Dimas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Teo Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Nío's Sixto Ayala shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Virgilio Ekaitz but with some difficulty. Virgilio Ekaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Iraunkor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Virgilio Ekaitz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sixto Ayala. Virgilio Ekaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Baltasar Piarres hit a great ball. Eustacio Beila's late challenge caught a FORTIN FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Beila helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, one of Nío:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nío. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Urbes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esteve Ihazintu struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Virgilio Ekaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nío. Virgilio Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Oriol in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Johans in the 55th minute of play forced Nío's goalkeeper Eustacio Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, FORTIN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Ihazintu came free, but Virgilio Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Sixto Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Leonides Tonio made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Diagur. Nío's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Nío getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Sixto Ayala hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes, FORTIN FC's Aaron Johans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustacio Diagur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FORTIN FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Iraunkor in the 79th minute of play forced FORTIN FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Urbes in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustacio Diagur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
