After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Francisco Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estutu Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Llope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Phelipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carcano's zone, Leopoldo Urtzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Phelipe came out of the goal and Leopoldo Urtzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Llope in the 10th minute of play forced Carcano's goalkeeper Lorenzo Phelipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Estutu Futbol Club's Alfredo Macario got a free kick in the 13th minute. Lorenzo Phelipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Llope in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Carcano's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Llope came free, but Lorenzo Phelipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Estutu Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Estutu Futbol Club's Francisco Llope looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 25 minutes, Leopoldo Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estutu Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Urtzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Llope in the 35th minute of play forced Carcano's goalkeeper Lorenzo Phelipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Carcano defense, Francisco Llope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Phelipe. The Carcano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Phelipe should have stopped the shot. When Leopoldo Urtzi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Estutu Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Urtzi couldn't finish the play. The Carcano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Estutu Futbol Club were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Enaut made a kick off. If Leopoldo Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carcano's zone, Alfredo Macario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Phelipe came out of the goal and Alfredo Macario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leopoldo Urtzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lorenzo Phelipe came out and tried to block the shot, but Leopoldo Urtzi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. With his leg Lorenzo Phelipe managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Estutu Futbol Club's Francisco Llope fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Carcano getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eriberto Enaut hit a great ball. Leopoldo Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Benet got free with Lorenzo Phelipe in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estutu Futbol Club's Francisco Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Carcano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Iratzeder to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Francisco Llope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Phelipe was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Lorenzo Phelipe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Benet went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Lorenzo Phelipe was a little too slow when Francisco Llope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-5. Lorenzo Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
