Santiago Polo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Médanos FC's Marcos Quilo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in NIEDO's zone, Marcos Quilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Polo came out of the goal and Marcos Quilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiburcio Orlanda made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Erasmo Sazon sent off a good shot on target. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Nofre was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Erasmo Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Gonza was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 64th minute, Melchor Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Polo made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jacobo Ignado sent off a good shot on target. If Ismael Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Marcos Quilo hit a great ball. Lucas Nofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tiburcio Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Jeronimo Ibon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Polo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The NIEDO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Médanos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
