Ramiro Berasko came out of the goal and Severino Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Egoi charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Egoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Robustiano Gotzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Cristo Muno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 17 in the game by Robustiano Gotzon from a close distance when the talented Ramiro Berasko managed to make a qualified save. INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA's players were relieved. Robustiano Gotzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Berasko stood somewhat misplaced when Robustiano Gotzon came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. In the 26th minute, Robustiano Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robustiano Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Berasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Toro in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Toro came free, but Ramiro Berasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute of the match Mazatlán CF got a corner. INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Camilo Peru ran over to the corner to take the kick. Saturnino Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 57th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Federico Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Muno, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Mazatlán CF getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fermin Elazar hit a great ball. Ramiro Berasko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Mazatlán CF booed when INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Bero didn't get a good kick on the ball. INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA's Ramiro Berasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Toro in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match Camilo Peru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Berasko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Muno in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Dorio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cristo Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 84th minute of the match Saturnino Pinto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saturnino Pinto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Saturnino Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Gotzon in the 96th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA's goalkeeper Ramiro Berasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazatlán CF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
