The penalty shot was made by Hipolito Monte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venancio AFC's Simon Itzaina. 1-1. If Hilario Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, LAMPONI Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Columbo came free, but Manuel Hechter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LAMPONI Futbol Club's Hilario Medardo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Venancio AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Teobaldo Truylos hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Chale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Hechter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rogelio Domenec kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Columbo in the 60th minute of play forced LAMPONI Futbol Club's goalkeeper Manuel Hechter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Venancio AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 79th minute Hector Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Hechter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, LAMPONI Futbol Club's Simon Itzaina threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hilario Medardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hilario Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Simon Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hilario Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Hechter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Columbo in the 93rd minute of the match. LAMPONI Futbol Club's Baltasar Sedeni got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Venancio AFC had won after a very even match.
