With a little luck, Velez Sarsfield's Eliseo Gorbea got control of the ball when Jose Matxin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Velez Sarsfield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Esteban Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute.
