Braulio Claris started the match with the kick off. Saverio Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Luciano Gabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Velez Sarsfield's Amancio Errapel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luciano Gabino. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cayetano Remigio hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Sergio Sansone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, C.A.RAZASOY's goalkeeper Luciano Gabino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Dabi. Eliseo Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Claris in the 29th minute of the match. Saverio Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Saverio Llorienzo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gavino Lehoi hit a great ball. Eliseo Gorbea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Florin in the 38th minute of play. Braulio Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C.A.RAZASOY's Luciano Gabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Llorienzo in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Dabi got free with Luciano Gabino in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saverio Llorienzo made a kick off. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carmelo Rey hit a great ball. Braulio Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Claris came free, but Eliseo Gorbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Gavino Lehoi got a free kick in the 74th minute. Saverio Llorienzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Eliseo Gorbea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amancio Errapel charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Errapel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amancio Errapel kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 1-2 came through a penalty shot after 89 played minutes, when C.A.RAZASOY:s Anselmo Eder calmly waited for Velez Sarsfield:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After 97 played minutes Velez Sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Remigio. Braulio Claris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Eliseo Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Velez Sarsfield supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.A.RAZASOY's performance. The match ended with a win for C.A.RAZASOY.
