The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Curcio in the 8th minute of play forced Drink Team's goalkeeper Albano Chap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Chap stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Quentin's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Honorato Lizer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Mel in the 26th minute. Flavio Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Honorato Lizer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Constantino Mateo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Drink Team's Flavio Liher slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Honorato Lizer. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, C.A de Flores's goalkeeper Honorato Lizer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Clis. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Mel in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Lizer saved C.A de Flores from getting behind. Hector Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Lizer having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, C.A de Flores's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Clis came free, but Honorato Lizer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Paulin during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Ignacio Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match Tobias Mel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Lizer skillfully saved the ball. Roque Abecia charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Abecia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. C.A de Flores's Honorato Lizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Liher in the 72nd minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Flavio Liher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Lizer. C.A de Flores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Liher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Drink Team had won after a very even match.
