Spectators: 6627 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 0) Catriel FC's Nestor Nuxila started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Freddy Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Lertxun in the 4th minute of play. Angelo Petrigai hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Catriel FC's Freddy Cebrian got control of the ball when Zacarias Tibalt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raul Lertxun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Cebrian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Zacarias Tibalt charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Tibalt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Catriel FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bartolo Lope hit a great ball. With a little luck, Catriel FC's Freddy Cebrian got control of the ball when Zacarias Tibalt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Catriel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Lertxun came free, but Freddy Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Cebrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Tibalt in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes of play, Catriel FC's Ildefonso Ilixo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Ixona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaime Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Nuxila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Cebrian made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Zacarias Tibalt sent off a good shot on target. Raul Lertxun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Lertxun to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Romulo Peruxu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 58th minute, Angelo Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Ixona having to interfere. Freddy Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Tibalt in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Antelo booed when Catriel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Catriel FC's Freddy Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Tibalt in the 80th minute of play. If Raul Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Catriel FC's Jaime Mateo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Ixona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Antelo's Zacarias Tibalt got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
