In the 26th minute, Teo Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Cocoritos Unidos's Guaberto Belo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Cordarryl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute Geronimo Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Luzaide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALDOSIVI's Teofilo Sindo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Albino Romo in the 45 minute of the game.

The wind increased when Federico Breogan made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cocoritos Unidos's zone, Geronimo Nisio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Luzaide came out of the goal and Geronimo Nisio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Guaberto Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Federico Breogan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Luzaide was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Cocoritos Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Breogan came free, but Manuel Luzaide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Federico Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Breogan in the 80th minute of play forced Cocoritos Unidos's goalkeeper Manuel Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Breogan in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Luzaide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cocoritos Unidos's Manuel Luzaide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Jerold in the 89th minute of play. Federico Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Paulo Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALDOSIVI's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Jerold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Luzaide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
