Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gervasio Acosta kicked off to start the match. Fernand Casagrande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Hulberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Tambillo FC's Ismael Urtungo threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gervasio Acosta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th minute Jonatan Ariando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernand Casagrande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Perez. Ismael Urtungo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sebastian Lluc. After having played for 24 minutes, Gervasio Acosta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Acosta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Enetz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Urtungo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ismael Urtungo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Acosta's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ismael Urtungo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Enetz in the 34th minute. If Vinicio Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Lastur in the 44th minute of play forced Tambillo FC's goalkeeper Fernand Casagrande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernand Casagrande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Ariando in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Acosta in the 47th minute of play forced Sarmiento's goalkeeper Ismael Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Ariando to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernand Casagrande made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Vladimiro Hulberto sent off a good shot on target. Mauricio Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Tambillo FC were furious when Arnoldo Acuña was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fernand Casagrande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Ariando in the 71st minute of play. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernand Casagrande. With a little luck, Tambillo FC's Fernand Casagrande got control of the ball when Vladimiro Hulberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Lluc's late challenge caught a Sarmiento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Lluc helped the player get up and apologised. Teobaldo Enetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael Urtungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Enetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Jonatan Ariando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernand Casagrande. The goal made the score 2-4. Vinicio Resto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sarmiento had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
