When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Eleuterio Ermano took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Amancio Micael to make any attempt to save it. Ambrosio Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Cichocki in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Guaymallén FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 柯翔烽 to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Cichocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Ibañez during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guaymallén FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ambrosio Ibañez hit a great ball. Esteban Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Micael having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Tobiasz Cichocki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ambrosio Ibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Aurelio Mel made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, Guaymallén FC's Ambrosio Ibañez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. If Eleuterio Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelio Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Cichocki in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Aristides Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guaymallén FC's Eriberto Lapurdi got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Ibañez notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Club Atletic Don Santiago's Aurelio Mel. Aurelio Mel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Egoi in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Micael saved Guaymallén FC from getting behind. But to his dismay, Esteban Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Egoi in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Micael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93rd play minutes Esteban Egoi shot 4-5, a short shot which went by Amancio Micael and just under the crossbar into goal.
