But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Bizen couldn't finish the play. A very good chance. Dalmacio Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pedro Dorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Nuxila made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Serafin Lugo sent off a good shot on target. The Eldía players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trinidad FC were winning 0-2.

Moises Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Pedro Dorio made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Serafin Lugo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eldía fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, Eldía's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Martinez came free, but Pedro Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
