He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Marea Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Euloxu came free, but Lino Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Marea Azulgrana's Constantino Erauso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Hermon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Constantino Erauso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Baldomero Hermon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Baldomero Hermon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paolo Polentzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Jaime Egoi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia's protests and gave Jaime Egoi a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Marea Azulgrana's Lino Abel got control of the ball when Fabricio Kaiet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Paolo Polentzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Hermon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Marea Azulgrana's Constantino Erauso got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Baldomero Hermon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marea Azulgrana had played much better football throughout.
