Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesar Fiz started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Gaitan. Gilberto Tancredo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Ovidio Dominix recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafael Liberto. Ovidio Dominix showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 18th minute, Ovidio Dominix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Liberto. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Fiz in the 21st minute of play forced Palmitas 's goalkeeper Pedro Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Dacio in the 22nd minute of play forced Intiguasi's goalkeeper Rafael Liberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 24 in the game by Ovidio Dominix from a close distance when the talented Rafael Liberto managed to make a qualified save. Intiguasi's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Intiguasi's zone, Cornelio Viviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Liberto came out of the goal and Cornelio Viviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Tadzio having to interfere. Ovidio Dominixs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Rafael Liberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute, one of Intiguasi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Intiguasi. Rafael Liberto had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Zeledon Veremundo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Aurelio Chale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intiguasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. Aurelio Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Dominix to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Intiguasi's Marcos Gar got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Intiguasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Gar didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cornelio Viviano hit a great ball. Ovidio Dominix took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Liberto. Rafael Liberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Dominix in the 69th minute of play forced Intiguasi's goalkeeper Rafael Liberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Intiguasi's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Dominix came free, but Rafael Liberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Cornelio Viviano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Ovidio Dominix took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Liberto. Rafael Liberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Intiguasi's zone, Ovidio Dominix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Liberto came out of the goal and Ovidio Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palmitas 's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
