Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Resto in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Abarca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Alfonso Chaime ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Abarca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. MONKEY D. LUFFY's Amancio Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Indartsu in the 15th minute of play. Guaberto Resto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eulalio Abarca came out and tried to block the shot, but Guaberto Resto slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 24th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Gowlan's Rafael Indartsu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Gonchan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th match minute, MONKEY D. LUFFY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Gaizko to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Rafael Indartsu put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Amancio Gonchan. When Arturo Darien fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gowlan's protests and gave Arturo Darien a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Arturo Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Isaac Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Indartsu made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Pablo Hustaz put in a rough tackle. In the 54th match minute, Gowlan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Abarca having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Indartsu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amancio Gonchan. That made the score 4-6 in the 75 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Justo Virila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a long run with the ball, Viorel Berceanu did a trick in the 82nd minute in front of Gowlan's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 5-6. An impressive performance by MONKEY D. LUFFY's Viorel Berceanu! After some careless play in the Gowlan defense, Guaberto Resto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Abarca. The Gowlan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Abarca should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Gowlan's Rafael Indartsu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
