Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodoro Vermudo started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes El Leon FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Lando. Lino Polentzi made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Efrain Efraim sent off a good shot on target. Ranquilón's Lino Polentzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Ranquilón from getting a goal against them. Claudio Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Oyum having to interfere. Lino Polentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Silbestre in the 15th minute of play. Nelson Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Polentzi having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as El Leon FC's Venancio Silbestre slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lino Polentzi. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Lino Polentzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Efraim in the 27th minute. Lino Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Venancio Silbestre lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Lino Polentzi. After 31 played minutes El Leon FC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Llorian. In the 34th minute, El Leon FC's Venancio Silbestre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Claudio Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Muhittin Oyum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in El Leon FC's zone, Cristian Xabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhittin Oyum came out of the goal and Cristian Xabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Polentzi was a little too slow when Alberto Lando got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Silbestre to make the kick off. Muhittin Oyum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Xabel in the 51st minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Venancio Silbestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranquilón's Lino Polentzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, El Leon FC's goalkeeper Muhittin Oyum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Xabel. Lino Polentzi came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by El Leon FC's Venancio Silbestre. But to his dismay, Venancio Silbestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Aquiles Blasco kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Alberto Lando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Venancio Silbestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranquilón's Lino Polentzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute Efrain Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Godofredo Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Leon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Llorian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Polentzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rdth minute of the game Venancio Silbestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranquilón's Lino Polentzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Efrain Efraim notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Ranquilón's Lino Polentzi. Lino Polentzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, Venancio Silbestre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Polentzi. Ranquilón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Silbestre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Lino Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Senin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Lino Polentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Silbestre in the 83rd minute of the match. Elvio Cordero's late challenge caught a Ranquilón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Cordero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Leon FC's Elvio Cordero got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ranquilón made a substitution. Isidoro Jatsu replaced Aquiles Blasco. Elvio Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Silbestre in the 87th minute of play forced Ranquilón's goalkeeper Lino Polentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Lando spun around in front of the goal 88 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ranquilón's goal. Lino Polentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Ranquilón got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Tartalo. 93 minutes into the match, Venancio Silbestre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Polentzi. Ranquilón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Silbestre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Leon FC fully deserved thier win.
