An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Silbestre in the 17th minute of play forced Lechuza's goalkeeper Romeo Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Vitin to make the kick off. Muhittin Oyum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lechuza. 95 minutes into the match, Lechuza's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Cardoso came free, but Romeo Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Leon FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
