When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Vitin made a kick off. Ranquilón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Gaston Muc scored to the left of an out of position Lino Polentzi, making the score, 1-3. After 57 played minutes Lechuza got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Fiz. When Cristian Xabel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Ranquilón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Xabel couldn't finish the play. Ranquilón's Lino Polentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Vitin in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Teodoro Vermudo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranquilón and the Lechuza players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ranquilón getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Teodoro Vermudo hit a great ball. The Ranquilón fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lechuza were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
