PASTAFRULA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Vermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Patricio Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Ranquilón's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Mannie came free, but Lino Polentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Vermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Vermudo in the 51st minute of the match. If Cristian Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes PASTAFRULA FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Fertus. 63 minutes into the game, Ranquilón's Cristian Xabel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Armani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A hard shot 67 in the game by Patricio Muno from a close distance when the talented Lino Polentzi managed to make a qualified save. Ranquilón's players were relieved. After 73 played minutes Ranquilón got a freekick which was hit by Marco Cruz. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Eguerdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ranquilón's Isidoro Jatsu was substituted for Aquiles Blasco. PASTAFRULA FC's Justino Demario quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcelo Tartalo, made in the 85th minute of the game. Patricio Muno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Lino Polentzi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Ranquilón's goalkeeper Lino Polentzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Muno. After 93 minutes, Gustavo Mateus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PASTAFRULA FC and the Ranquilón players grew even worse after the yellow card.
