Gomezchingones FC's Sixto Astudillo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Eustacio Urti notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deportivo Iceberg's Jacobo Bonifaco. Jacobo Bonifaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 9 minutes into the match, Gomezchingones FC's Baltasar Ilixo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Bonifaco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Iceberg's zone, Baltasar Ilixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Bonifaco came out of the goal and Baltasar Ilixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Gomezchingones FC's Baltasar Ilixo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sixto Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jacobo Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gomezchingones FC's Maximino Eztebe got a free kick in the 26th minute. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Peter Schleuter with Sixto Astudillo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Eustacio Urti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jacobo Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Bonifaco having to interfere. Baltasar Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Julio Fagondo made the kick off in the second half. Santos Muno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jacobo Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gomezchingones FC's Santos Muno got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Iceberg's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baltasar Ilixo 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. If Baltasar Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Froila charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Froila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Baltasar Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomezchingones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Ilixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Bonifaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustacio Urti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eustacio Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Baltasar Ilixo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gomezchingones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Ilixo couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Ilixo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jacobo Bonifaco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gomezchingones FC. Sixto Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jacobo Bonifaco made a huge save. Felix Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gomezchingones FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
