Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anier Osmundo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Norberto Scoponi had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Hector Orlin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Arsenio Ekain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Scoponi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Norberto Scoponi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Anier Osmundo sped through Casares's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norberto Scoponi. 23 minutes into the match, Soldini's Nicanor Gaxan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Scoponi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anacleto Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eriberto Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 33 minutes, Nicanor Gaxan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soldini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Gaxan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Anier Osmundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soldini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Nicanor Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Norberto Scoponi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Osmundo in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Scoponi saved Casares from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Garoa to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Erubiel Ferdinand shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Scoponi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casares's goalkeeper Norberto Scoponi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Ismael Frasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soldini and the Casares players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Soldini got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Frasco. 68 minutes into the match, Casares's Albino Mosen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Casares's goalkeeper Norberto Scoponi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicanor Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Norberto Scoponi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Argoitz's late challenge caught a Soldini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Argoitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Casares's Esteve Argoitz got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Anacleto Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Casares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Lastur couldn't finish the play. Norberto Scoponi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Deunoro in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Ulises Deunoro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norberto Scoponi. The goal made the score 0-4. Nicanor Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Norberto Scoponi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Scoponi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Osmundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Anier Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Casares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Ponc to maneuver through the defense. Anier Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Soldini's Anier Osmundo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norberto Scoponi. That made the score 0-5 after 95 minutes of play. Soldini played a much better game than Casares and deserved their victory. The Casares players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
