After having played for 15 minutes, Vladimiro Chano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roberts FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Chano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Scoponi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Erasto in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Erasto in the 18th minute of play forced Casares's goalkeeper Norberto Scoponi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Casares getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Esteve Argoitz hit a great ball. Norberto Scoponi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Erasto in the 22nd minute of play. Roberts FC's Mariano Erasto got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Chano got free with Norberto Scoponi in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Roberts FC's Vladimiro Chano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Scoponi. Norberto Scoponi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gilberto Eufrasio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Norberto Scoponi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Erasto in the 37th minute of play forced Casares's goalkeeper Norberto Scoponi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Casares's zone, Vladimiro Chano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Scoponi came out of the goal and Vladimiro Chano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Scoponi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Erasto in the 43rd minute of the match. Vladimiro Chano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Scoponi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Garoa made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Romeo Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anacleto Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Teobaldo Blasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Roberts FC's Vladimiro Chano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Scoponi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casares's Norberto Scoponi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Chano in the 72nd minute of play. Teobaldo Blasi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anacleto Lastur went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The Roberts FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Roberts FC's Mariano Erasto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
