When Ismael Frasco fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soldini's protests and gave Ismael Frasco a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Soldini got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Frasco. In the 36th minute, Arsenio Ekain had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Romeo Baladi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Eriberto Jakue stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Erasto's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Vladimiro Chano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Eriberto Jakue made a huge save. 58 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Chano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vladimiro Chano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Eriberto Jakue made a huge save. With a little luck, Soldini's Eriberto Jakue got control of the ball when Vladimiro Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line.
