The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Choco F.C.. In the 13th minute Isaias Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Poncio in the 17th minute of play forced Choco F.C.'s goalkeeper Alvaro Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Boniel in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Poncio in the 43rd minute of play forced Choco F.C.'s goalkeeper Alvaro Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Boniel was the one to do the kick off. In the 72nd match minute, Cora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Mancio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Choco F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cipriano Egoitz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Isaias Poncio could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Alvaro Esiquio however easily saved by the left post. Alvaro Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Boniel in the 80th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Cora got a freekick which was hit by Matias Sindo. Teodoro Boniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
