Valentin Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Poz in the 30th minute of play. Valentin Gartzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Severo Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Gartzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Llanos got free with Ermegildo Qwinton in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Palos in the 43rd minute of play forced Lunlunta AFC's goalkeeper Valentin Gartzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lunlunta AFC's Valentin Gartzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Palos in the 46th minute of play. If David Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Poz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lunlunta AFC's Valentin Gartzen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Lunlunta AFC from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Lunlunta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Gutierrez came free, but Valentin Gartzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Maidana got free with Valentin Gartzen in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ermegildo Qwinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Llanos in the 73rd minute of the match. Claudinei Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Qwinton having to interfere. Erasmo Bras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Claudinei Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Lunlunta AFC's Armando Llanos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Qwinton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 88 minutes into the game, Claudinei Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ermegildo Qwinton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Claudinei Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermegildo Qwinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Llanos in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Armando Llanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunlunta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Llanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Qwinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
