Ermegildo Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Poz to make the kick off. Serafin Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ermegildo Qwinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Garikoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Maidana went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Federico AFC reached it. Serafin Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Delmiro Guillerme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Ermegildo Qwinton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Delmiro Guillerme scored 2-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Qwinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Guillerme in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Qwinton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santos FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Federico AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
