Eriberto Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Jordy in the 19th minute of play. Eriberto Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Natal, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Sebastian Geofredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Mazuste showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ruben Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somellera's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Onofre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Feliberto Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Maderas AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ruben Onofre fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Maderas AFC's goalkeeper Eustacio Manni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Onofre. Ruben Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Onofre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Manni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruben Onofre went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Feliberto Onofre came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Somellera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Onofre couldn't finish the play. Fabian Cordarryl's late challenge caught a Maderas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Cordarryl helped the player get up and apologised. Fabian Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Fabian Jordy, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eriberto Mazuste was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Maderas AFC booed when Somellera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Cristo Garin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eustacio Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Somellera walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
