Los Suplentes's supporters rose to their feet, but David Karmel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Seme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner led Lechuza AFC's Guillermo Millrick to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Buinton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When C.A. Carlos Buinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lechuza AFC's Roman Seme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Lechuza AFC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Jerano in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Jerano got free with Roman Seme in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Jerano in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Izotz was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, C.A. Los Suplentes's goalkeeper Carlos Buinton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Mel. C.A. Los Suplentes's Marcelino Santio got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Isaac Jerano sped through Lechuza AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Seme. Isaac Jerano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Roman Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Seme was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute Isaac Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. Los Suplentes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
