Aguilas Negras CABA's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Valery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Deportivo Furlotti getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Salvador Dorio hit a great ball. After 9 minutes, Salvador Dorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Furlotti and the Aguilas Negras CABA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aguilas Negras CABA booed when Deportivo Furlotti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Dorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Bazkoare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Aguilas Negras CABA got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Cristofol. Pablo Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Monico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Lisandro Bazkoare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Adrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lázaro Marin was a little too slow when Tomás Hitzeder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Denis Adrio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Deportivo Furlotti's Pablo Valery. Pablo Valery was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo Furlotti's Pablo Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Monico in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Hitzeder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lázaro Marin. That made the score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Tomás Hitzeder made the kick off in the second half. Edwin Koekkoek's late challenge caught a Deportivo Furlotti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edwin Koekkoek helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aguilas Negras CABA getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. A very good chance for a goal. When Lisandro Bazkoare came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Aguilas Negras CABA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Bazkoare couldn't finish the play. If Denis Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pablo Valery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lisandro Bazkoare fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguilas Negras CABA's protests and gave Lisandro Bazkoare a yellow card for diving instead. Lisandro Bazkoare kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Many of Aguilas Negras CABA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Aguilas Negras CABA may have spent more time on the ball, but Deportivo Furlotti were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
