SAN TELMO FC's Vladimiro Madeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Breogan in the 19th minute of play. Omar Tabby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Astudillo having to interfere. If Mariano Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes Sisiguasi FC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Lugo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Araoz during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sisiguasi FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 36th minute, Ernesto Beremundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN TELMO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ernesto Beremundos short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Carmelo Astudillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carmelo Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sisiguasi FC booed when SAN TELMO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ted Berg to make the kick off. Marco Breogan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Vladimiro Madeo made a huge save. The supporters of SAN TELMO FC booed when Sisiguasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Breogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Berg in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Marco Breogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Madeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Cresconio got free with Vladimiro Madeo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Vladimiro Madeo managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Sisiguasi FC's Faustino Cresconio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 66 minutes into the match, SAN TELMO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Tabby came free, but Vladimiro Madeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Sisiguasi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Tabby to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Tabby got free with Vladimiro Madeo in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carmelo Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
