When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Marco Breogan sped through Bonilla FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anibal Maurino. Marco Breogan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Maurino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Omar Tabby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Anibal Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sisiguasi FC's Faustino Cresconio came free and shot a quick shot against goal 39 minutes in the game, fortunately Anibal Maurino had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Faustino Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Maurino having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, Marco Breogan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anibal Maurino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Serafin Totakoxe fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bonilla FC's protests and gave Serafin Totakoxe a yellow card for diving instead. 48 minutes into the match, Bonilla FC's goalkeeper Anibal Maurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Cresconio.
