Spectators: 7039 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 142) The Akademicos fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Akademicos's Amancio Lluterio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amancio Lluterio took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Llorian. Delmiro Llorian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Paolo Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Llorian having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Amancio Lluterio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Delmiro Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adan Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alpertunga Timurhan having to interfere. Alpertunga Timurhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Eron in the 27th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Adan Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centenario Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akademicos's Amancio Lluterio got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Vergaray in the 40th minute of the match. Amancio Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delmiro Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Paolo Vergaray might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmiro Llorian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paolo Vergaray ran back to his position shaking his head.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Herensuge in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alpertunga Timurhan saved Akademicos from getting behind. A collision led to Centenario Futbol Club getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Felipe Nel hit a great ball. Amancio Lluterio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmiro Llorian having to make a save. After 62 minutes, Prospero Obeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centenario Futbol Club and the Akademicos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Centenario Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Obeko to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, one of Akademicos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Akademicos. The referee gave Centenario Futbol Club a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgard Claus, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Akademicos's Alpertunga Timurhan. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Akademicos's Severino Burni got a free kick in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Daniel Avellaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Akademicos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centenario Futbol Club the free kick. After 85 played minutes Akademicos got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Avellaneda. If Gogo Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Akademicos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Severino Burni hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Adan Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpertunga Timurhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akademicos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
