Villa San Carlos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rompe Huesos the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Urtzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rompe Huesos's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Gorka came free, but Claudio Belo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Bertran in the 53rd minute of play forced Rompe Huesos's goalkeeper Claudio Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Urtzi was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
