Florencio Berriotxoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlas F.C's players had a chance to rest. Atlas F.C's Florencio Berriotxoa got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benjamin Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes of play, Atlas F.C's Simon Perrando made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Sofistas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Simon Perrando came free, but Juan Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlas F.C's Eusebio Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Beltxe in the 46th minute of play. Serafin Regis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erubiel Beltxe to make the kick off. Florencio Berriotxoa struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Juan Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlas F.C. Sofistas F.C.'s Juan Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Sofistas F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Simon Perrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusebio Jakes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Beltxe's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Benjamin Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Silvanito charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Silvanito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atlas F.C booed when Sofistas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Perrando in the 72nd minute of play. Eusebio Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Beltxe in the 78th minute of the match. Atlas F.C's attentive Benjamin Edur managed to snatch the ball when Rodolfo Nicholas made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Juan Cutberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Perrando went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Sofistas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Edur came free, but Juan Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlas F.C's Manuel Llanos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Juan Cutberto but with some difficulty. 94 minutes into the match, Sofistas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Simon Perrando came free, but Juan Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Edur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Juan Cutberto made a huge save. If Benjamin Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlas F.C's Danilo Mirande was substituted for Florencio Berriotxoa. Atlas F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
