The supporters of Av La Plata 1700 booed when Juventud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömer Rıza Akansel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Precioso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Sotero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Agustin Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Av La Plata 1700's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Thomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Av La Plata 1700 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Juventud.
